Please join us for an author talk featuring UC Merced Assistant Professor of Literature, Mai-Linh Hong. 

In this talk, Dr. Hong will discuss and read from her debut book of poems, Continental Drift, which came out in July of 2026 from Trio House Press and won the Trio Award in 2025. The book explores family histories and displacement and the landscapes that shape them, while examining and questioning what it means to live in a post-colonial world.
