Using Images with Confidence Online

Using Images with Confidence

Have you ever wondered what images you could legitimately use in a personal or academic project? Join this workshop to become a more confident and ethical user of images as you apply good judgment to selecting and using images. This is part of our Scholarship as Conversation theme.

You’ll walk away with

  • a basic understanding of concepts including copyright, public domain, and Creative Commons licensing.
  • strategies for locating image usage information for attribution purposes.
  • multiple resources where you can search for images.

Length: 50 minutes

Audience: Campus Community

Instructor: Sara Davidson Squibb

An Important Note:

We are hoping to record many of our workshop sessions for use on our Library website and our YouTube channel for future instructional purposes. If you would like to remove any identifying information from your Zoom settings and profile, please do so prior to the start of this workshop. Your instructor will notify you when the recording will begin.
