The National Library of Medicine recently launched a redesigned PubMed interface to improve usability, increase the relevancy of search results, and incorporate new features that facilitate research practices. The PubMed database contains over 30 million biomedical citations and is the predominate database in the health sciences. During this workshop, we will use PubMed to:
- Perform basic and advance searches using keywords and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)
- Obtain citations in a variety of citation styles, i.e. AMA, APA, NLM, or MLA
- Share references via permalinks or social media
- Save searches and create search alerts
