Working with Students on Research Questions In-Person

The goal of this session is to provide resources and strategies for approaching the development of research questions with first-year writing students.  It is designed for MWP faculty teaching Writing 10.  In this session, librarians and MWP faculty will

1) identify characteristics of well-developed research questions.

2) engage in an activity as one approach to creating research questions.

3) discuss the feasiblity of sample research questions.

Heather Devrick and Angela Winek will join the session to share challenges and successes developing research questions with students.

Length: 1 hour

Light refreshments will be served.
