Write a Paper, Get a Scholarship In-Person

Did you know that the UC Merced Library has a scholarship for undergraduate student researchers? Did you know that you could receive $500-$1000 for a research paper or project that you completed this year?

The Carter Joseph Abrescy and Larry Kranich Library Award for Student Research Excellence was established in 2017 to recognize undergraduate students who demonstrate the effective use of library and information resources, an understanding of the research process, and growth in research practices.

Applications for the 2019 award open November 1, 2018 and close on February 1, 2019.

Attend this one-hour session to learn more about the award, requirements, and application process.

For those attending in person, light refreshments will be served.

The presentation will also be available online via Zoom. Join the meeting online at https://ucmerced.zoom.us/j/6560196295 (meeting ID 656-019-6295).
