As the United States government is about to embark on the 2020 census, increase your knowledge of the census’ history by attending “The Politics and Practicalities of Counting People”.

In this workshop, Donald Barclay will give a historical overview of the census -- noting significant changes over time and explaining key census terms and concepts including metropolitan statistical area (MSA) & census block. He will also introduce some of the tools & techniques for searching census data.
