Faculty Author Series: Dr. Sidra Goldman-Mellor Online

Faculty Author Series: Dr. Sidra Goldman-Mellor

Please join us for an author talk featuring Assistant Professor of Public Health, Dr. Sidra Goldman-Mellor. Dr. Goldman-Mellor will discuss her most recent article, "Association of Suicide and Other Mortality with Emergency Department Presentation"- published in JAMA Network Open. This article focuses on the data Dr. Goldman-Mellor collected, statewide, from California residents to examine the effects of emergency department presentation and the association with suicide or other mortality. Dr. Goldman-Mellor's research suggests that the increased risk may call for more interventions and patient support. Dr. Goldman-Mellor's article has also been featured in a recent news article published in MD Magazine.
