Faculty Author Series: Dr. Sidra Goldman-Mellor Online

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event is being rescheduled for April 29, 2021. We apologize for the late notice and any inconvenience.

Please join us for an author talk featuring Assistant Professor of Public Health, Dr. Sidra Goldman-Mellor. Dr. Goldman-Mellor will discuss her most recent article, "Association of Suicide and Other Mortality with Emergency Department Presentation"- published in JAMA Network Open. This article focuses on the data Dr. Goldman-Mellor collected, statewide, from California residents to examine the effects of emergency department presentation and the association with suicide or other mortality. Dr. Goldman-Mellor's research suggests that the increased risk may call for more interventions and patient support. Dr. Goldman-Mellor's article has also been featured in a recent news article published in MD Magazine.

Length: 60 Minutes

This event will be hosted on Zoom. Please register to obtain the log in information and passcode.
