Industry Research with IBIS World Online

Please note this workshop was previously scheduled for July 6th and has been moved to July 20th. 

Learn about the library's newest business database: IBISWorld, a comprehensive database of industry profiles, statistics, and data. IBISWorld offers information on thousands of industries and subindustries in the United States and around the world. This workshop will show you how to use IBISWorld to find competitive analysis, top companies operting in the industry, performance benchmarks, and more. 

Prior to joining the workshop, please do the following:

During the session, you will want to be connected to the UC Merced network via the Virtual Private Network (VPN). If you do not yet have a VPN connection, please visit campus OIT’s Installation Guide for instructions.
