Algorithmic Bias & Gaming Online

We encounter algorithms regularly in our daily lives. Though algorithms may lead us to a new favorite music artist, they also can deepen echo chambers of misinformation and be misleading. Join us for this session to discover ways in which algorithms can perpetuate bias and how algorithms can be gamed. This session will include video clips and some interactive searching.
