Avoiding plagiarism: When to Cite, When to Paraphrase Online

Avoiding plagiarism: When to Cite, When to Paraphrase

WHAT do I cite? WHEN do I cite? WHY do I have to cite? WHAT is paraphrasing, and HOW do I build a good one? The answers to these questions will help you write a better assignment and keep you from inadvertent plagiarism -- a form of academic dishonesty, and a serious offence against university policy. This short workshop will discuss academic integrity at UC Merced and teach you how to avoid plagiarism.

Length: 30 minutes

You will receive a Zoom link and passcode with your registration.
