Please join us for a Faculty Author Series talk co-sponsored by the Center for Africana Studies featuring Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Daniel K. Thompson. 

In this talk, Dr. Thompson will discuss his new book, Smugglers, Speculators, and the City in the Ethiopia-Somalia Borderlands. The book explores the work of Ethiopian-Somali smugglers and investors and examines links between cities and borders in rapid urbanization.
